Finding truth is difficult, and the road to it is rough. As seekers after truth, you will be wise to withhold judgement and not simply put your trust in the writings of the ancients. You must question and critically examine those writings from every side. You must submit only to argument and experiment and not the sayings of any persons. For every human being is vulnerable to all kinds of imperfection. As seekers after truth, we must also suspect and question our own ideas as we perform our investigations, to avoid falling into prejudice or careless thinking. Take this course, and truth will be revealed to you.

The art of loving, to have or to be

To be honest, this quote is made from two books written by Erich Fromm. The first one is "the art of loving" and the second one is "to have or to be". Erich Fromm is a psychoanalyst who born on March 23, 1900, at Frankfurt am Main was a German social psychologist, psychoanalyst, sociologist, humanistic philosopher, and democratic socialist. He was associated with what became known as the Frankfurt School of critical theory. (source from wikipedia.org)
